Hoops for Hope Fundraiser 2023
3 on 3 Tournament
Go for the Gold in cooperation with Sports World is hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament as a suicide awareness and fundraising event call Hoops for Hope.

Former NBA Players Wesley Fluellen and Jermaine Taylor will be present on behalf of SportsWorld. Spectators are welcome to give a donation for admission at the door. Go for the Gold is covering the team admission fees for all teams aged 10 – 18. However, for teams in the Young Adult bracket (age 19 – 24) $125 admission fee is required. In addition, you may register a 4th player as an alternate, at no charge.
There is a $500 cash prize for the 1st place winners of the Young Adult bracket. For 1st place winners ages 10 – 18, there will be a medal ceremony. Brackets will be formed based on age, grade, and experience.
Create a T-shirt Design
Use your creativity to design a logo for our Hoops for Hope t-shirt! Art should depict a positive message about youth suicide prevention and awareness. Because of that, we reserve the right to disqualify any art that we deem inappropriate. Accepted art will be displayed at the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament on April 22.
5 random entries will receive a $10 gift card. The 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive an autographed basketball. 1st place winner’s design will be used for the Tournament t-shirts and a $500 athletic/academic scholarship will also be awarded to you through your school. Use of funds will be determined between applicant, parent, and school administration. Scholarship is provided by Divine Catering and Events. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded at the 3 on 3 Tournament on April 22, 2023. Winners will be announced by March 25, 2023.
Tickets Available Online
Raffle tickets are going to be drawn on April 22 at the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. However, ticket holders do not need to be present to win. All tickets you purchase online will have the numbers sent to your email address. So, if your ticket is drawn at the Hoops for Hope event you will be contacted at the phone number provided to arrange for collecting your prize.
